David Mason grew up in the UK and has been involved with masonry since the age of four (under the tuition of his Masonry teacher Grandfather). Keeping it in the family, he now has his own apprentice (his son Samuel).

After leaving school in1993, he began his masonry apprenticeship, obtaining his advanced city and guilds certificate (Master Mason) by 1996. David has worked for the National Trust, Bryant Group and Birmingham City Council in the UK, and even did some bricklaying as a Commando-engineer for the British Army.

In Canada David has worked on numerous projects including 88 Creekside, White Wolf Cabins, restoring the Old Fire Hall in Rossland, and a trip to Montreal to restore a heritage home on the Hudson River to its original state.

David has had the pleasure to teach Stone Masonry at Salmo Stone Center, and as a bricklaying tutor in Archway Academy in the UK.

David the Mason is now located In Whitehorse, Yukon and has worked on the new Whitehorse correction center and for Evergreen Construction amongst many others. 

Be it stone walls, intricate brickwork or grand fireplaces, David the Mason offers the best quality masonry work. It is in his blood, it is all he does, so he does it VERY well.
